Registry office and archive

Registry office

The registry office, situated in the town hall of Raahe, receives the incoming town mail and processes all official notices, agendas and records. The registry office also starts processing the initiatives submitted by the municipality’s residents.

The registry office is also the place where you can enquire about any civic matters that are currently being processed or have already been subjected to a decision. Besides using the information service, you can order any documents you need from the registry office, such as extracts from the records or certificates. Documents and information services are subject to fees determined in the current price list.

More information: Office Secretary Sirkku Kemppainen, tel. +358 40 135 7016, kirjaamo [at] raahe.fi.

Archive

The archives in the town hall of Raahe contain all the civic materials intended for long-term and permanent storage, such as school certificates and construction drawings. Most of the material in the archives is accessible to the public, and you can view it free of charge. Copies can be made of the documents as needed. Please book an appointment in advance on the phone or via e-mail before you come to the archive.
